Do I need an HVAC technician?
According to the manufacturer, no HVAC technician is required for the regular setup. The sealed refrigerant system must not be opened or altered.
For what room size is the PortaSplit suitable?
The manufacturer specifies rooms up to approximately 42 m² or 105 m³. The actual performance depends, among other things, on insulation, solar radiation, and outside temperature.
Can the device also heat?
Yes. The PortaSplit combines cooling, heating via heat pump, dehumidifying, and ventilation.
How loud is the air conditioning?
In silent mode, the manufacturer specifies 39 dB(A), measured under defined conditions. At higher performance, the device may be more audible.
Is app control possible?
Yes. In addition to the remote control, the device supports control via the SmartHome App.
